Society for Nutrition Education Presentation
Chief Scientist Chuck Benbrook and Dr. Meg Cattell, a Colorado organic dairy farmer and veterinarian, teamed up for a successful symposium moderated by Organic Center Board member Theresa Marquesz. The symposium was held August 1, 2007 at the annual meeting of the Society for Nutrition Education in Chicago. The presentation covers the impacts of organic food and farming on taste, pesticide risks, nutrient density, antioxidants, food safety, dairy cow health, beneficial fats in milk, and antibiotic use and resistance.
